RKV Tempo Traveller Rental Chennai (RKV Tours and Travels) is a tempo traveller and group travel company based at 13/3, Kannadasan Nagar Main Road, Ramapuram, Chennai. It runs 12 to 21 seater, luxury and Maharaja tempo travellers with experienced drivers for local, airport, wedding, corporate and outstation travel, and is open 24 hours.
How we started
RKV began as a corporate car supplier, providing vehicles to event organisers in Tamil Nadu and other Indian cities. Again and again, clients asked for one vehicle that could move a whole team, so we bought our first tempo traveller. More followed.
Today we run our own fleet of tempo travellers in every common size, luxury and Maharaja vans, cars and coaches. We are still owner-run, and you will often find the owner answering the phone at 6 am to sort out an airport pickup.
What we care about
- Being on time. Drivers report 15 minutes early, and we track every vehicle.
- Safe driving. No rash overtaking, rest breaks on long runs, and second drivers for overnight trips when needed.
- Clean vans. Washed and sanitised before every trip, with curtains and seat covers changed regularly.
- Straight billing. Opening and closing km noted together with you, and receipts for every toll and parking fee.
